Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Intensive Care
Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed
Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) Must-Have: ICU Experience Job Description: - Work in
a Medical Intensive Care Unit with 12 beds and a team of 36 staff
members. - Utilize equipment such as Tablo, Belmont, Baxter Pumps,
Codman EVDs, Hillrom Call System, Imobile, Hemosphere EMR Meditech.
- Maintain patient ratios of 2:1, 3:1, or 1:1 depending on the
unit's needs. - Perform procedures such as EVDs, sled, central
lines, para/thoracentesis, lumbar drains, and TTM. - Collaborate
effectively with the day shift director, manager, clinical
coordinator, RNs, externs, and paramedics; support night shift RNs
and externs. - Provide high-quality patient care with a
team-focused approach. - Adhere to the dress code of Navy Blue
scrubs. - Abide by unit guidelines and policies, remaining flexible
to various scheduling needs. - Work every other weekend with no
on-call duties.
