• Certification Details
• ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Certification required.
• RN license required.
• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.

  • Registered Nurse position at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Crisis Response.
  • Travel/Contract employment type.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years.
  • Accepts first time travelers.
  • Unit will accept contracts from 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025.
  • Shift: 12 HR Nights.
  • Max RTO (Requested Time Off): 7 days for Aya Auto Offer.
  • A challenging and very busy unit with a target ratio of 1:5-6 patients.
  • Weekly Schedule: Every other weekend, 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in a 6 week period required.
    • Job Requirements
    • Traveler must have experience with ratios/acuity.
    • Skills required: IV Start and Telemetry, pre and post procedure patients cardiac pts., cardiac drips, PCI.
    • Certs required: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH.
    • Call Requirement: Yes, frequency depends on patient census.
    • Float Requirement: YES.
    • Weekend Requirement: Yes.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 12 HR Nights.
      • Self Scheduling with guidelines and oversight from leadership.
      • No Block Scheduling.
      • RTO: 7 days Max for Aya Auto Offer.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • The unit is fast-paced with high turnover.
        • Unit Orientation: 36 hours required.
        • Special Equipment: Telemetry and pulse ox High Flow O2 (STABLE), Non-Rebreather Mask (Only if Palliative), Bipap can be used, only if it is chronic use.
        • SCRUBS: Navy blue or white or a mixture of the two.
