TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Lancaster, South Carolina, 29720 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM); Consideration for 3x12s Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Required Must-Have: - Med/Surg experience required - Preferred: Telemetry, Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias Job Description: - Provide quality medical-surgical nursing care to patients - Manage a 1:6-1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio - Work every other weekend - No on-call requirements - Be prepared to float within scope to meet facility needs - Accommodate block schedule requests subject to prior approval - Utilize Epic charting system Miscellaneous Requirements: - Complete a 16-hour orientation - Completion of non-billable modules, approximately 4 hours, prior to start - Flu vaccine required with exceptions for medical or religious reasons Additional Information: - Candidates should avoid accepting extensions during hurricane season (June - November), especially in August and September. - Ensure all requested time off is submitted during application to align with facility needs. 26089954EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Confront diverse medical cases that challenge and expand your skill set.
