TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28203 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of Adult Cardiac, Pediatric Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgery License: Active compact or NC RN license Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred Job Description: - Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation. - Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues. - Identify expected outcomes for an individualized plan. - Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes. - Implement the identified plan and coordinate care delivery. - Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. - Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with legal or policy parameters. - Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes. - Practice in a manner congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles. - Communicate effectively in all areas of practice. - Collaborate with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders in nursing practice. - Demonstrate leadership within the professional practice setting and the profession. - Seek knowledge and competence reflecting current nursing practice and future-oriented thinking. - Integrate evidence and research findings into practice. - Contribute to quality nursing practice. - Evaluate one's own and others' nursing practice in relation to professional standards and guidelines. - Utilize appropriate resources for planning, delivering, and sustaining evidence-based nursing services that are safe, effective, and fiscally responsible. - Practice in an environmentally safe and healthy manner. - Practice ethically. - Promote shared governance and facility decision-making activities, and nurture research to positively affect clinical outcomes.
