• Shift: Days or Nights (Floating option available with higher pay) Key Responsibilities: As a Step Down/PCU RN, you will provide care to patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment, often transitioning from ICU-level care. You will be responsible for managing patients with complex conditions, including those with cardiac, respiratory, or other critical health issues. The ability to interpret telemetry, administer medications, and work within a multidisciplinary team is essential. Your duties will include monitoring patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary, and educating patients and their families on post-discharge care. Qualifications:
• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU/Step Down experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work at least two major winter holidays (can request one off: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's). Benefits Include:
